Private, indoors, in its own room, seats six, listed as open 24 hours. Available October through May. Not shared with anyone, not outside in the weather, and not on a timer that stops at nine.

Twenty minutes by car. Keypad check-in means arriving after dark with cold hands is fine.

The lake in winter

Loon Lake is still at the bottom of the path and there is nearly nobody on it. Chestertown, Warrensburg and North Creek are all short drives, and Lake George is quiet and cheap in February.

Winter is a different house

It is three storeys and you will use the stairs, including with ski boots in your hands. There is no trash pickup, you take your bags with you or to the transfer station. Booking guest has to be 25 or older, and we do not host events. Small groups and families, please, not parties.
